What is WebChannelU?

The concept is simple. Think of an old UHF TV Station on steroids. We bring the power of the Web to the local level. We help you find things to watch, read, do, buy, eat and entertain you in your own back yard. What you will find here is what makes your city different from every place else.

Don't expect the latest episode of "Lost" or ads from national retailers, bars or restaurants. What you find here is what people are talking about here, like local content, ads and information. If you want to know what the special at your favorite restaurant chain is, then check google. But if you want a place with some local color that isn't the same as everywhere else, then check us out. We offer the Mt. Adams Fish House as opposed to Red Lobster.

There are plenty of places that will help you keep in touch with the world. WebChannelU helps you keep track of what's going on in your neighborhood.

Who pays for all this? Well the advertisers. But this is a little different than the normal advertising model.

WebChannelU provide ads as a service to our users not an inconvenience.

Loyalty Program

WebChannelU is currently working to develop a members reward service to benefit both users (consumers) and advertisers. For those who sign up, they will receive Member only deals, discounts and access with out the fear of being spamed into oblivion.
Advertisers will get a way to put a face on the customer and a chance to meaningful rewards, recognition , customer dialog .

User Alerts

WebChannelU will provide a service that allow users to register to have alerts sent to them with special offers from favorite establishments, bands, or retailer.
